Friends took us swimming on Friday, and Madeline and I had the best time splashing and eating.

It's taken nearly two years of lessons, but he finally dives in the deep end on his own. He's come a long way! So proud. Sorry for the blurry pic. He was in motion and I was trying to cut out everyone else's faces. 😜😍

Tonight was the county swim meet, which NHS won! Yay! It was Senior Night, too. Lizzi's last meet. I can't believe it.

For the record, and before I go too much further with this post...Rex hasn't been letting me take pictures of him. I'm not leaving him out on purpose. Just sayin'. He might be more elusive than the crazy Hannah-girl.

In the mean time, the last few days have been fun.

I think Caleb is a pretty good-lookin' young man...even when he's covered in chewed-up-by-a-toddler-brownie smears.

Daddy taught Madeline how to get the job done right.

But Mommy got the camera out, so then Madeline needed her picture selfie taken....

I tried to get Sam's picture, too. I told him to smile handsomely, lol.

Also, the swim team photographer posted awesome pictures of Lizzi on FB today. They were from last night's meet (which I missed, because we were feeding the sister missionaries).

And Caleb sent me pictures from our eye doctor visit earlier this week. It wasn't really Madeline's visit, but she sure knew what to do. Look at that grin!

First Meet of the Year

And Lizzi...well, Captain Lizzi avoids parental contact during swim meets, so I had to ask her for a picture to post, and shockingly, the Selfie Queen (who thinks, somewhat rightfully, that I don't understand Snapchat) had to ask a friend for any pictures from her meet. But at least we are documented now.

First Swim Meet

Caleb's first swim meet was today. 🏊🏻 He did very well, and I was glad I got to see him swim. This is obviously not him swimming. This is him peering at me through the back of the bleachers. He thought it was pretty fun for me to see him behind bars. Whatever. 🙄
