Sam Turned One (a few weeks ago)

...but I didn't have a camera. So here are the party pics from my phone, followed by what we did on his birthday (ate hot dogs at Sam's Club).

As I was preparing to run errands this morning, I decided to wear a baseball cap to keep my hair under control. The wind has been blowing nonstop for the last day.  Ha!  I couldn't even keep the hat on my head, the wind is so ferocious.

My Little Man

When Little Man isn't busy staring forlornly at the big kids, this is what he does with his time.  He loves balls just the right size for his hands, and he growls at you if you take them away.  And he loves chasing things around the floor--the latest obsession is these little Chevron cars.  He's funny with them because they roll a lot better than the rubber blocks he was chasing around, so gets mad at the cars when they get away from him, and growls at them, too.  Super cute!  (Sorry about the picture quality--my phone doesn't do motion very well, and Sam is constantly in constant motion.)
